Sewell’s Marina invites your “crew” (staff, company, wedding, group, reunion)  to enjoy two and a half hours on Howe Sound on a special fun-filled ocean exploration tour. We’ll give you and your crew (4 passengers per boat) your own boat, fuel, safety instruction and boat operation, safety gear and Discovery Tour Maps. The rest is up to up to you! This is fun, safe, soft adventure self-drive boating experience designed for everyone who loves nature and the outdoors. It’s great for company staff and group outings, a significant day of west-coast adventure!
	MARINE DISCOVERY TOUR:  Great group fun, exploration in self-drive boats You receive a group welcome, orientation, safety briefing, pre-staged boats and map package showing points-of-interest locations in Howe Sound.  Howe Sound will be yours to explore, with seal rookeries, bird sanctuaries, waterfalls, the famous sea-to-sky highway (from a completely different viewpoint), local islands and marine parks, beautiful homes and cabins, lighthouses and marine restaurants. This is fun, safe summertime ocean exploring!
	Rain & Weather   Fair weather always helps, but we are always impressed by how much fun that happens regardless of those occasional wet days. The number of cancelled events due to rain at Sewell’s is less than one percent of the total number of events that we do. As a general rule our clients rarely cancel, since our boats have rain canopies, and guests are looking for adventure.
	Reservations required. Marine Discovery Tour Departures 10am, 1pm, 4pm Mon-Fri only (no weekends or holidays). Duration is 2.5 hours on the ocean. Approximately 4 passengers per boat. Guests are responsible for any damage and crew and must sign a waiver. Damage deductible is $300.00 CAN. Travellers that are pregnant or have had recent surgeries should avoid this tour. DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE MARINE DISCOVERY TOUR & THE SEA QUEST: SEA QUEST IS A FRIENDLY COMPETITIVE GAME, A SCAVENGER HUNT WITH QUESTIONS THAT REQUIRE MARINE EXPLORATION USING SEWELL'S SELF-DRIVE BOATS AND PROVIDED MAPS IN ORDER TO DISCOVER ANSWERS, WITH RECOGNITION TO THE WINNING TEAMS THE MARINE DISCOVERY TOUR IS  MARINE EXPLORATION USING SEWELL'S SELF-DRIVE BOATS AND PROVIDED MAPS IN ORDER TO VISIT POINTS-OF-INTEREST THAT ARE ALREADY REVEALED ON MAPS, PRIOR TO DEPARTING THE DOCK.
