Howe Sound has a wide and abundant variety of wildlife close to Vancouver, with stunning coastal mountains shaped by the last ice age.

 Our mountains, rugged coastline, deep fiords and cold rich ocean currents develop an environment capable of supporting many species of  birds and marine mammals  that find the protection and food they need in order to survive. To put it simply, it is a beautiful place in the world, wild and tame at the same time, close to a large city but "out there" in terms of interaction with the environment and nature.

Your teams are provided their own boats, maps and a list of questions and clues. They have to navigate some of the most spectacular scenery on the southern coast of Canada and return in time for a fantastic lunch or dinner west coast style, where they will discover their ranking among the great explorers and pioneers of the west coast. Some are elated with their results, others a little surprised, with the end result being great times and rekindled spirits.
