The Lookout – No Ordinary Coffee Shop

Jun 09

The Lookout Coffee Shop perches on the doorstep to Howe Sound, nestled in the middle of Horseshoe bay surrounded by some of BC’s most unique Coastal Mountains. This is no ordinary coffee shop. The staff will welcome you with a smile and craft your drink with care. Choose a seat on the deck where you may witness a bald eagle soar over head, the comings and goings of the waterfront, and the warm summer sun. From the patio you can find yourself among wold travelers waiting for the ferry, cyclists who choose Horseshoe Bay as a half-way point on a day long trek, or our local regulars that choose The Lookout for their daily caffeine boost. Brewing locally roasted Moja Coffee and locally baked goodness to make the mouth water, there is no better way to immerse yourself in the community than sipping a cup of coffee in the ever evolving Horseshoe Bay. Come say hi!

Happy World Ocean’s Day!

Jun 08

June 8th is World’s Ocean’s Day and we are proud to be a part of Jane Goodall’s post for the day. Howe Sound is a very special jewel in the world that has a wonderful story of rejuvenation. Check out this great article by local Bowen Island resident Robert Falls with many photographs from a previous employee Jessica Haydahl Richardson. Get out and enjoy, respect and appreciate an ocean where ever you are in the world.
